This week for the apartments. I think it's one of my favorites.

I've been working on this off and on since July. It took me 4 seasons of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and about a dozen movies to finish it. I'm not sure I'll ever have the motivation to attempt another dot picture of its size...It's meant to be the Northern Lights- something I've always wanted to see.

This one doesn't look very big in the picture, but I assure you it's a monster. 61 roses for a 61st birthday.

I named this one "Jayme" after my niece. Not sure why, but it just looked springy and something a little girl would like.

This one was really hard for me. It didn't come out quite like I wanted, but that's ok. The colors are pretty. It's from my calendar, too- a sugar farm in Vermont.

This is a lighthouse in Massachusetts. I was feeling a little nostalgic and wanted to do some pictures of New England. I've never actually seen this particular lighthouse, but it's in my New England calendar and I really liked it.

After I did the charcoal of the hot air balloons, I decided I should do one in color, too, since balloons are always so colorful.

This one was a part of a big window display that we created for our shop using all our leftover flowers from Valentines' Day. Whenever we have old flowers we make cool arrangements to display around the store.

I remember really liking charcoal when I was in college. I hadn't done any in years, so decided to give one a try. I think it may take some time to refresh my memory. :) This one is in honor of a trip my sister, niece and I are taking later this year to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. I can't wait!
